Lions House is located in a sunny location in the castle park. Currently a traditional Bavarian beer garden.
The building was built in 1907 as an Art Nouveau villa. The Lions House was previously located at this location, one of six baroque pavilions in the palace park ensemble that were built by Bishop Amand von Buseck in 1747 to accommodate guests. According to tradition, Lola Montez, the famous mistress of King Ludwig I, lived in the baroque Lion Pavilion during her stay in Bad Brückenau in 1847.
