On the upper floor above the anteroom is the royal box, which has a connection to the main room through large arched windows. The painting of the Italian Renaissance ornaments according to Gutensohn’s plans by the Munich painters Ludwig Höger and Jakob Hochbrand underlines the festive effect of the hall.
