How do I pinch correctly?
First you go into the pool with cold water and take long steps through the water. You should always pull one leg completely out of the water, so never put both legs on at the same time. Bend the tips of your feet down a little. So you walk through the pool like a stork.
After about half a minute there is a strong feeling of cold in the feet and legs. Then you leave the water basin so that your feet can warm up again. This process can be repeated several times.
After you have finished treading water, the water is only wiped off, never dried, so that the evaporative cooling can take effect. You can also move around a bit to warm your feet up again.
Tip:
Kneipp can be done at any time – in the morning to stimulate circulation and in the evening for better sleep. However, to have an effect, treading water must be practiced regularly.
