As a landmark of the Bayerisches Staatsbad and known beyond the borders of the Free State, the Kursaal building is the most impressive structure in the Bad Brückenau Castle Park. Even if King Ludwig I did not want to build a luxury building, the first neo-renaissance building in Germany is still magnificent and impressive. The hall named after him clearly embodies this with its approx. 430 m².
Over 180 years later, weddings find their unforgettable setting here. Well-known companies are impressed by the scenery and have designed their conferences to be a unique experience. With these impressions, many participants would like to come back to the Staatsbad Bad Brückenau for relaxation and wellness.
The King Ludwig I Hall is still a center for art and culture today, in this building commissioned by King Ludwig I in 1827 and designed by Johann Gottfried Gutensohn: small and large orchestras, ensembles, soloists and cabaret artists delight here audience with their work.
The finest arabesque paintings and stucco work, in the radiant light of an impressive chandelier, amaze the visitor.
