In 1818–1819, Landbaurat Bernhard Morelli built a lodging house on the southern slope of the central axis, at the same height as and opposite the prince’s building, to complete the entire complex.
The main façade facing the castle park with its classicist forms is characterized by a basement with high vaulted cellars. On both sides of the cellar entrance, curved outside stairs lead to the two-story main building, set back on a panoramic terrace, which is adjoined by single-story side wings with open colonnades. On the ground floor, the Castello Belvedere invites connoisseurs to enjoy Italian specialties. The vaulted cellar served as a storage space for food until the 1930s.
