The former long building was replaced in 1901 by a walkway that ran parallel to the Kurhaus (today’s Badhotel). The elegant iron construction with a domed roof was extended to the Wernarzer Spring in 1911 by court building officer Eugen Drollinger. The closed, glazed foyer, planned by the architect W. F. Kunze, was inaugurated in 1950.
The foyer, not an isolated monument, was completely renovated. From the roof to the double-glazed window fronts, the effective acoustic ceiling to the stone floors with the accompanying energy-saving renovation, the property can now be equated with the format of a congress hall. The Wandelhalle with the healing spring lounge is the backdrop for the traditional drinking cure, for regular concerts and events. In addition to media technology, large congresses and major events can also take place in a modern atmosphere. The fountains, the garden furniture and the design with lemon trees, together with the opening sliding doors, create the atmosphere of an orangery. This meant that with the renovation it was possible to get closer to the construction status of the 1950s. The pictures on the information and wardrobe cube are a reminder of these times.
